Partnership model

We sell GC.Platform as a SaaS, in a long-term partnership. Here you'll find what working with us looks like — from the first conversation, through implementation, to ongoing development of the system.

A partnership, not a project

With most of our customers we work for a decade or more — meaning the relationship begins with implementation but doesn't end there.

We sell GC.Platform on a subscription basis. You pay us when you're using the platform and actually selling through our system. On our side, we maintain it, update it, develop it and train your team. This isn't a “vendor-customer” model — it's a partnership model, with a partner motivated to see your sales grow, because we grow with you.

What implementation looks like

GC.Platform implementation consists of four stages:

1

Alignment

We agree with you on the scope of needs — within the standard GC.Platform functionality and any extensions beyond standard. We define the schedule and the scope of integration work.

2

Standard adaptation

We install, configure and test the parts of GC.Platform that fall within the standard modules. This is usually the largest part of an implementation — and the one we have the most experience with.

3

Extended adaptation

We deliver integration and development work that goes beyond standard — integrations with your ERP, custom processes, custom fields in the catalogue, dedicated interfaces. Each customer has a different scope here.

4

Licence and maintenance

Once the handover protocol is signed, your GC.Platform licence begins. From that point we maintain the system, deliver updates, roll them out for you and train your team — within the monthly subscription.

How much GC.Platform costs

We sell GC.Platform as a SaaS. The monthly fee is an agreed percentage of net turnover processed through the platform — the exact rate we negotiate individually, depending on the scale and scope of the implementation.

EUR 1,000 net / month

Minimum monthly fee

The minimum covers the GC.Platform cloud infrastructure and system maintenance. It does not include the cost of AI tokens (e.g. OpenAI) or TecAlliance licences (TecDOC, YQ Service) — those are on the customer's side.

The one-off implementation fee is agreed separately — its amount depends on the scope of adapting the platform to the project's needs.

Additional work beyond the scope of standard implementation — integrations, extensions, custom features — is billed under separate orders, at a rate of EUR 500 net per man day.

24/7 support package — optional

By default, GC.Platform support runs on business days, 08:00–16:00 CET. For projects that require continuous availability, we offer a 24/7 package — handling of critical (P1) tickets on a continuous basis, including weekends and holidays, with access to the emergency procedure and a response time of up to 1 hour.

Package cost: +20% of the monthly subscription.

The Support terms and SLA page covers the details of the procedures.

The details of billing, payment schedule and SLA terms are laid out in the SaaS licence agreement, which we share at the commercial conversation stage.

What the subscription covers, what falls on you

We make the line between what GearCode delivers and what falls on the customer clear in the contract. Here's how it looks by default.

On GearCode's side (covered by the subscription)

  • ✓GC.Platform cloud infrastructure — Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, Cloudflare
  • ✓System maintenance and monitoring
  • ✓Software updates, fixes and improvements
  • ✓Rollout of updates at the customer's site
  • ✓Technical and user documentation
  • ✓Training of the customer's team during updates and new features
  • ✓Handling of service tickets in line with the SLA

On the customer's side

  • •TecAlliance licences — TecDOC, YQ Service
  • •AI token costs for the AI.Assistant features (if the module is active)
  • •IT environment for integrations (e.g. ERP) with remote access available
  • •Project coordinator and a team delegated to work with us during implementation
  • •Source materials required for alignment (data mapping, process documentation)

Licence period and what happens after

We sell GC.Platform on a long-term licence basis. The specific period is set in the contract — typically a few years, adjusted to the scale of the project and the planning needs on your side.

After cooperation ends, customer data is either returned or permanently deleted — within 30 days of contract termination, with a deletion protocol. The details are covered in the data processing agreement that we sign alongside the SaaS contract, in line with Article 28 GDPR and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We present the full data security policy on the page Data and security.

Looking for something other than GC.Platform?

The model described above applies to GC.Platform — our proprietary e-commerce platform. We also deliver custom projects: dedicated systems, integrations, data warehouses, industry-specific tools. We work on these in a different model — project-based or mixed, tailored to the specifics of the engagement.
