GC.AUTH - user dashboard


GC.AUTH – is application used to give identity to users of many applications, it is also used to give identity to user of GC.PLATFORM. You can create one account that will be used in component of GC.PLATFORM. What is more the application enables possibilities to authenticate oneself with use of Google, Facebook or Microsoft accounts.


Who can use GC.AUTH?

There are basically three groups of users of this app:

  • 1. Customers of stores using GC.PLATFORM components

  • 2. Owners of stores using GC.PLATFORM components

  • When someone creates account in one of many stores operated by GC.PLATFORM such person has access to his/her personal data in a particular store. The list of tabs available contains: Profile, Change password, Login history, Devices.


    Profile tab: 

    It shows first name, last name, email address and mobile phone number.

    Change password - this tab is available only for native users (users who created their accounts directly in GC.AUTH). Users who created their accounts with the use of Google, Facebook or Microsoft are not able to change the password here. For native users this tab enables changing password – you write you old password, a new one and you repeat a new one to be sure that you have not made any mistakes in spelling.





    Login history tab 

    The history of login contains such information as shown in the screen below: Date, application, browser that was used and the information if login was successful or not.


    Devices tab 

    This tab contains such information: Name, Device ID, Operating system and Version.


  • 2. Owners of stores using GC.PLATFORM components


  • Owner of store of course can see his/her personal data (the same as regular customer - Login history, Devices) but apart from that such user can see many other tabs like: Users, Login history (of users), Applications, Permissions, Request filters, Brands, Branding, Files and Templates. Of course, visibility of such data depends on settings of permissions.




    Owners  

    As you can see in the screen, list of users contains first name, last name, email address, phone number and account type (System, Google, Facebook or Microsoft type).

    Let’s start with the red „Add” button shown in the screen. This enables creating new user manually. Hitting this button opens the window shown below where one can define: first name, last name, email address, phone number and range of permissions to selected applications.


    Login history tab 

    This tab shows the username, date of login, application used, type of browser that was used and information if login was successful or not.



    Applications  

    This tab shows all the applications the store owner has permissions to.  


    Request filters  

    You can define here, for example, IP numbers that will not be able to use Your app.


    Brands  

    Brands – if You have more than website You can add here more brands with their different logos and background images but all Your users will be managed with use of one database.


    Branding

    Here icons, company logos, login page images and sender emails templated are shown.


    Files  

    To have the logos, and all the new graphics you need to upload them to auth service. You do it with Files function and Add button.




    Templates 

    You define here templates for your app for Email confirmation message, password reset message, etc.
